A reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Williams, 3837 Central ave, followed the wedding Saturday afternoon of their daughter, Miss Thelma Gastineau, and Lt. Alan W. Ker. The Rev. Ralph O'Dell officiated at the ceremony at 3:30 o'clock in the McKee chapel of the Tabernacle Presbyterian church. Miss Donna Alles played the bridal airs. The bride chose a gown of white Jersey fashioned with a chiffon yoke edged in seed pearls and a full skirt falling into a train. Her circular veil was two-tiered and she carried a white Bible with gardenias and streamers of white rose buds and ivy, Miss Eleanor Mundell was the maid of honor. She wore a dress of fuchsia chiffon with a shirred bodice and full skirt and carried a bouquet of Talisman roses. Traveling Ensemble The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Ker, 1537 N. LaSalle st. Henry Ker was his brother's best man and the ushers were John Sheedy and Robert Mundell. . Mrs. Willlams was dressed in light lavender wool and Mrs. Ker chose a gown of beige crepe. Both wore corsages of gardenias, For going away the bride wore a turquoise wool suit. with lizard accessories and a rose corsage. Sidney B, Markey, associate secretary of the Indianapolis Council of Social Agencies, was the principal speaker today at the bimonthly meeting of the policy forming committee of the women's division of the Marion county civilian defense council. The committee convened at 10:30 4A. Mm. in the east room of the World War Memorial building. Mr. Markey discussed the relationship between the Council of Social Agencies and the civilian defense council's community services.
