Marsella found entertainment lackling so he grew his “Jerry Colonna” style mustache. Cpl. Marsella, who wears the Asiatic and American theater of war area bars, said “the natives wash our clothes, and when I first arrived on the island, they only charged $1 a bundle, but when 1 left, they were charging $5 a bundle.” He thinks they bury the money to buy American washing machines after the war, Cpl. Marsella will return to the naval hospital at Memphis, Tenn. ROBERT 8S. MYERS, stationed with the Seabees on a southern Pacific island, has been promoted to the rate of boatswain's mate 1-c.
