Mrs, Abe Goldsmith was her sister's matron of honor. She wore a gown of aqua crepe and carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses and pompons. The bridesmaids were two cousins of the bride, Misses Helen and Shirley Smith, and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Florence Schenkman. They were dressed in taffeta gowns of moonstone blue, gold and pink and carried colonial bouquets of roses and chrysanthemums in fall shades. The flower girl was sheila Rachelle Sterling. Cpl. Philip Smith was the best man and the ushers were Joseph Smith, Paul Goldstein and Mr. Goldsmith. Reception Follows
Mrs. Smith wore a. long gold crépe dress accented with green and a corsage of green orchids and the pridegroom’s mother chose a green crepe dress with an orchid corsage. A reception followed the ceremony and the couple left for a wedding trip. For traveling the bride chose a beige suit trimmed in brown velveteen, brown accessories and an orchid corsage. The couple will live in Austin, Tex.

Local members of the American Association of University ‘Women were called upon recently, in a message received from Dr. Esther Caukin Brunauer, to help promote an understanding of the newly created united nations relief and rehabilitation administration, Dr. Brunauer, national associate in international education, said in her letter that “With all the relief that the UNRRA can give, there is still a large fleld ot opportunity for private organizations such as the A A VU.
