I have read every book available on this subject in the public library, but as yet I have not seen any diving operations being performed. . . . I am writing this letter to you in hopes that you will be able to send me a pass so that I may be allowed to watch them at close range.” Today Robert and his sister, Margaret, of Lynbrook, N. Y. were shown around the ship by Lt. Cmdr. C. F. Chandler, Robert approved of the methods being used.
