Tomorrow has been designated “My Daughter and I" day by the Indianapolis Girl Scouts in connection with the Girl Scout leadership drive which opened yesterday. The purpose of the day is to honor mothers of active Girl Scouts at troop meetings or individually. Individuals are planning to honor thelr mothers by taking over some home task learned in Scout work. Do lunch at the canteen and eat something hot. This stretches ration points at home and gives. the housewife a relief from having to plan new sandwich fillings. Do eat at least three vegetables a day as long as they are available. Eat more pulses (the edible seeds of peas, beans and other similar

night. Do. include raw cabbage in your nightly salad since it has more vitamin C than lettuce. Eat more parsley and raw sprouts for the same reason. Remember vitamin C improves the complexion, puts a sparkle in your eye, preserves the figure and helps ward off infection, especially colds.
