Rite Is Read in Roberts Park Church
Mrs. John A. Baxter was - Miss Marjorie ‘Ellen ‘Johnston before her wedding at 4:30 -p. m. yesterday in the Roberts Park Methodist church. The Rev. Sumner LL. Martin officiate. Frank Watkins, organist, and Mrs. Marjorie Breeden, soloist, provided the bridal music. Mrs. Baxter is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Johnston, 5026: Oak - ave, and: the bridegroom -is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Walter Baxter, 1133 N. Kealing ave. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a purple wool suit with matching hat. Her other accessories were of black and her corsage was of orchids. Miss Sarai Winkelpleck was the bride's only attendant. She wore a turquoise wool suit with ‘matching hat and her flowers were gardenias, Mr. Baxter was his son's best man.
