Board Puzzles Over Father of Nine Who Needs His Money.

LOVELAND, Colo, Oct, 1 (U. P.).—As the draft of fathers began today throughout the nation, Edwin Cole, his wife and their nine children awaited the local draft board's decision on whether he will be inducted tomorrow. The board held a special hearing to decide on the unusual case of Cole, whose job as a cement "finisher does not place him in the deferrable class as an essential worker.

Cole said he was willing to switch to an essential job if he
