HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 20.—Osa ‘Massen; last seen in “Iceland” and “The Devil Pays Off,” has been signed to portray the second feminine lead in “Jack London,” the forthcoming United Artists release which co-stars Susan Hayward and Michael O'Shea in the lead roles. _ Miss Massen will play. the. role of Freda Moloof, the actual Dawson City dance hall girl of Grecian descent who reportedly passed up the deed to a million dollar mine for a romance with Jack London during the Alaska gold rush days.
