A trio of ‘Indianapolis leatherorks has been graduated from the reserve ‘officers’ school of the U. S. marine corps at Quantico, Va. The marines are 2d Lts. Lester M. Lale Jr., 1309 N. Drexel ave.; RobA. Heath, 717 Bast dr., Woodruff Place, and Herbert W. Turner, 1438 N. Grant ave. They are now awaiting assignment to combat outfits.

The Johnson family of 1803 W. Michigan st. has gone all out for victory. The father, Pfc. Everett T. Johnson, is stationed with the air corps mechanics school at Gulfport, Miss.; the son, Pvt, Edwin P. John- . son, is at Ft. Benning, Ga. com‘Wleting a course in the paratroopers, and the mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, works at the CurtissWright Corp. Edwin has just returned to his station after a 10-day furlough spent with his mother. He is a graduate of Washington high school and a former Times carrier. .
