NEIGHBORHOODS
YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD movies this week-end feature a harvest of revivals, most of them top-notch and many of them “academy award” winners in past years, The most sensational of all of them, considering the length of time it. took to make it, the number of stars in it and the length of time it takes to see it, “Gone With the Wind,” will be shown at the Cinema tomorrow. If you've seen it once, you'll probably want to see it again;

Romo Vincent offers something different in the way of comedy. The jovial fat man recites silly poems, tells an occasional joke and sings. His imaginative unmounted “Lone Ranger” and “Joe American,” typical defense plant worker, catch the customers’ fancy.

ARMY WOMEN PILOTS CHRISTENED ‘WASPS’
WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 (U. P)). —The war department today officially christened women pilots of the army air forces “WASPS.” The title was chosen by Gen. Henry H. Arnold, army air forces commanding general, for women’s air force service pilots. It includes pilots of the women’s auxiliary ferrying squadron, formerly known as WAFS, the women’s auxiliary flying training detachment, dubbed WFTD, and those assigned to other flying services within the air forces. ‘WASPS wear a distinctive uniform but serve as civilian employees rather than members of the armed
services. 500 N. Pennsylvania St.
