S. be returned to their native lands” after the war, -

The post has opposed a movement to let prisoners locate here “taking jobs away from our returning soldiers.” The state neadqumaters legion service department will introduce a resolution to provide paid legion service officers at Indiana army camps to enroll men who are being discharged. The state legion already has enrolled 1000 members of the second war’s army honorably discharged for disability. Appearing on the program will be marine Cpl. William L. Martin and marine Pvt. Fred L. Paine, interned at Billings hospital, who will tell of their experiences in the Pacific battle zone. Governor Schricker ‘and Harry 'W. Colmery of Kansas, past national commander, also will speak. The Indiaha state legion band and the Fort Harrison -band will
