HE Army-Navy “E” pennant, representing recognition by the Army and the Navy of “excellence in production of margarine needed for the war effort” now flies over the Standard Margarine Company of Indianapolis—makers of Blue Bonnet

For this Indianapolis plant of the Standard Margarine Company, founded in 1921, now not only MAKES MORE MARGARINE THAN ANY OTHER PLANT IN THE COUNTRY~but it carries this proud symbol as proof that its products meet the high NUTRITIONAL STANDARDS set by thie Government of the United States. We are the first in our industry to win this’ distinguished award, and on this occasion, we, the people of the Standard Margarine Company, wish to dedicate ourselves even f urther to the task which lies ahead. We pledge still further our efforts and our hearts until the fight for Peace and Freedom and a Decent World is won.
