MISS JUDITH PRESTON has set August 28 as the date of her marriage to John Lillard Davis. She is the daughter of Mrs. Frances Allison Preston and Mr. Davis Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen T. Davis of Winchester, Ky. Miss Preston was graduated from Orchard school. Tudor Hall school and Wells college and is a member of the Indianapolis Junior

League. The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Kentucky Military institute and Washington and Lee university.

Gowned in sea foam green chiffon. Miss Ruth Elynor Nihma. sister of the bride and maid of honor, will carry Talisman roses.

The bridesmaids, Miss Barbara Jane Murphy and Miss Blessing Neidlinger, also will earry roses. With her blue gown, Miss Murphy will carry pink flowers. Miss NeidIimeger will be in pink and her bouquet of pink roses will he accented with blue delphinium. All the attendants will wear pendant necklaces, gifts of the bride, and will have single roses in their hair. Pfc. Howard Manning, La Grange, Nl. will be his brother's best man and Hermann Brunning, Columbus, Ind, and Lt. (j. g) James Andi, Peru, will be ushers.

To Live in Peru

The bride's mother will be in a rose lace gown and will have a gardenia corsage. The bridegroom's mother also will wear a gardenia corsage on her rose silk dress. Miss Helen Lucille Carlson and Miss Beverly Jean Manning will assist at the reception in the Nihma home, after which the couple will leave on a wedding trip. The bride will travel in a blue and white silk terepe ensemble with white accessories and a white orchid corsage. The bride and bridegroom will be at home after Wednesday at Peru i where Ensign Manning is stationed as flight instructor with the U. 8. naval air corps.
