Woodstock club was organized in June, 1915.
The summer stamping ground of 419 Indianapolis residents is the Woodstock club, Incated at 1301 W. 38th st. Its business is hooming with many of its members vacationing at home hecause of the war, For this holiday week-end, the club will serve buffet dinners tn approximately R75 members and guests. Reservations for tonight's dinner-dance are still open, hut those for tomorrow and Monday are completely filled, Tt hoaste of a beautiful golf course, a regulation 15 by 35 foot swimming pool, {ennis courts

\ Marjorie Grindle's Enqagement fo Cadet H. E. Goodwin Is Announced
THE ENGAGEMENT OF Miss Marjorie Grindle to Naval Air Cadet Harry E. Goodwin is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Vernon Grindle. Cadet Goodwin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Goodwin. No date has been set for the wedding. Miss Grindle will continue her studies at the University of Arizona next fall. She is affiliated with Alph Phi sorority, \ Cadet Goodwin was home recently on furlough from Marquette
university, Milwaukee, Wis, and left this week for pre-flight training at Towa City, Towa.
Gordon-Duncan Rites Are Read
THE REV. E. AINGER POWELL was to officiate at the wedding of Miss Jenny Lind Duncan and Larry Gordon at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon in Christ Episcopal church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Duncan and the bridegroom's parents are Mr, and Mrs. David Combs. Altar decorations were te be two three-branch and two sevenbranch candelabra, two single cathedral candles, vases of white gladioli and greenery. Chester 1.. The bride, who was to he given in marriage by her father, was to wear a cinnamon rose suit trimmed with ceramic heads. The ensemble has a pencil line skirt and a peplum effect on the jacket.
Sister Is Ring Bearer
Miss Natalie Pinnell, maid of honor, was to wear a beige suit with a dark brown halo hat, brown accessories and a corsage of brown lilies. Four-year-old Carolyn Duncan, sister of the bride, was to be ring-bearer. Her frock was to be of brown French batiste with inserts of embroidery around the skirt. She was to have yellow daisies in her hair and carry the rings for the double ring ceremony in a lily. Jonathon Combe was to be his brother's best man and ushers were to be Jack Duval and Frank Quick. The couple will take a wedding trip en route to their new home in New York,
