Indiana veterans of the world war I Rainbow division, which soon will be reactivated, will hold Shek 24th annual reunion tomorrow and Sunday at the Hote] Washington :
Of the 1200 members of the state association, between 250 and 300 are expected to attend, according to T. V. Corbin, Indianapolis, president. Gray ~ Albert Hoyt, president of the national association, plans to attend. There will be a business session Saturday afternoon. The annual banquet will be held in the evening. The speakers will include Mayor Tyndall, who commanded the 150th field artillery, a unit of the division, and Homer Chaillaux, ii Americanism director of '$he American Legion. © The annual memorial service will be held in the recently dedicated Rainbow room at the World War Memorial Sunday afternoon.
Dr. Garber in Medical Corps
Dr. Elizabeth Garber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Garber, Dunkirk, has been sworn in the U. S. army medical corps as a first lieutenant. Before her promotion, she was a second officer in the WAAC, staj tioned at the : first WAAC training center, Ft. Des Moines, Jowa. She is : now: the third ranking woman Lt. Garber in the army Lt, Garber, a graduate of Indiana university, served two and one-half = years’ internship and residency in pediatrics in the City hospital here and later specialized in pediatrics at the University of Chicago.
Bloomington will bring trophies to be added to the collection. They will be housed in the Rainbow room during their stay. Indiana will have a delegation at Camp Gruber, Okla., July 14, when the division is reactivated and the colors of the old division are presented to the new.
