St. Joan of Arc Church Scene of Clark-Fisher Wedding Ceremony

IN A CEREMONY at 10 o'clock this morning in St. Joan of Arc Catholic church, Miss Dorothy Ann Fisher became the bride of Earl James Clark. She is the

daughter of Mrs. Ronald M. Fisher. Mrs. Stinson Clark

of Lafayette is Mr. Clark’s mother. : Pink and white peonies and seven-branch candelabra

decorated the altar before which the service was read by the Rev. Fr. C. M. Bosler. The organist was Edward

Krieger. ; Entering on the arm of her uncle, Percy H. Weer, the bride

wore a white mousseline de soie gown styled with bishop sleeves, & fitted basque of point de Venice lace and a gathered bouffant skirt which extended into a train. Her full length English illusion veil was fastened to a halo of heirloom Brussels lace. She carried a cascade of white roses and stephanotis centered with a white orchid and interspersed with tufts of white maline,

Bridegroom's Brother Is Best Man

THE MAID OF HONOR, Miss Nancy Morrow, and the bridesmaid, Miss Agnes Patricia Brown, chose frocks of petal pink marquisette with high round. necklines, fitted basques accented with tiny ruffles outlining the shoulder yokes, bishop sleeves and bouffant hoop skirts. Their bouquets were of pink sweetheart roses and delphinium. They wore matching flowers in their hair. Carrying baskets of pink and white rose petals the flower girls, Norma Jean Headley and Diane Brown of Beech Grove, wore pink dresses and had wreaths of flowers in their hair, Robert Clark of Lafayette, brother of the bridegroom, was Best man and the ushers were William G. ‘Niehaus and Paul E. Gage. The bride’s mother wore a king blue frock with black accessories and an orchid corsage. Mrs. Stinson Clark also had an orchid corsage with her black and white dress. Her accessories were white.

Couple to Be at Home After June 18

A RECEPTION FOR THE FAMILIES followed in the home of the bride's mother. After the wedding trip the couple will be at home June 18 in the Penn-Arts apartments. For traveling the bride chose a brown and white print dress with dark brown accessories and an orchid corsage. Wears Marquisette

The bride will wear a gown of white marquisette fashioned with a high round neckline, long fitted

sleeves, a tight bodice with lace revers over the shoulders, and a bouffant skirt which falls into a slight train. Her two-tiered fingertip veil of illusion will fall from a Juliet cap of seed pearls. She will carry a cascade of white roses and sweetpeas tied with white satin ribbon. The matron of honor’s dress will be of blush pink marquisette while the. bridesmaid’s gown will be of heavenly blue marquisette. Both

dresses are fashioned with sweet-

heart necklines, puffed sleeves, fitted bodices and bouffant skirts. The attendants will wear matching Juliet caps and carry bouquets of pink rosebuds and blue lace flowers, tied with blue and pink ribbon. Mrs. Phillippe has chosen an aquamarine alpaca suit with brown accessories. . She will wear an orchid. The bridegroom’s mother will have a black crepe dress with white accessories and a gardenia corsage.

Reception Follows

Following the ceremony a reception will be held at the home of the bride’s parents for the wedding party and immediate families. Assisting will be Mrs. Orville Kinder of Indianapolis and Mrs. William Lewis of Frankfort. For the short wedding trip, the bride will wear a cerise suit with black accessories and will have a gardenia corsage. The couple will be at home at 316 W. Larkin st. Midland, Mich. Hospital Guild Books Election
