HOLLYWOOD'S LATEST communique from the Norwegian front
their oppressors, after being goaded by the usual barbarities. Warper Bros. handles the subject with the usual Heavy hand. Despite many bad momehts, the film mahages to reach a high point of excitement and the story is pretty fair. The choice of Fiynn and Annie the Oomph was unfortunate. Both seemed out of their element, what with no private yachts nor juke boxes within shouting distance. The acting in the fim is done by Walter Huston, Nancy Coleman ahd some bit players. Flynn, ooking dashing and daring, speaks his piece as though he's reading the funnies to one of his little friends. Annie behaves like a gun

THE FINAL production of the Civic theater will be “It Never RAINE” which opens at 8:30 Pp. m. Friday. The farce by Noel ranger, ran in New York under the title, “The Walrus and the
Carpenter.” It deals with the problems of 4 mother and her three daughters, one of whom is having a baby ahd all of whom are having financial troubles. Mrs. Katharine Pantzer takes the lead as Essie Stuyvesant, the Mother, and all scenes are laid in the Stuyvesant home from which the family is about to be evieted for Bot paying the rent. There is alse a family bubtier who steals the fewels for unpaid, back salary. The Civie has produced eight shows this season at the Alabama st. playhouse and has put on 25 at Ft.
