Two showers honoring brides-to-be appear in the bridal news. Miss Pam Valentine and Miss Mary Alice Miller will be the hostesses Sunday afternoon at a kitchen shower for Miss Dorothy Herman. Two weeks after many hardpressed dry cleaners urged Americans to avoid wearing evening clothes, London newspapers announced that tail coats and white ties were out for attendants at Buckingham palace for the duration.
