TOMORROW—

In quiet, homely country churches, in tall, pretentious city cathedrals, the people kneel to pray. lt might be any other Easterin America... Easter lilies in the windows the Easter Parade taking place as usu al on Main Street, U. S. A. BUTThis is Easter, 1943. And:to Americans, over a year af war, the day and the event + commemorates has a new and bigger meaning. Today they earnestly pray for Victory—for the triumph of Goodness over the forces of Evil and Oppression. And" their prayers will be answered. Make'no mistake about that. For that is the promise of Easter, just as it was 1910 years ago. .. . There will be other Sundays when the world is free, when kindness and love will prevail even in the lands that today have
forgotten Easter. That is the kind of dawn we may expect . .. the kind of Easter we can hope for in America.
