Name Committee Members “MRS. JOSEPH P. MERRIAM fias announced additional members on her committee for the Meridian Hills Country elub lunch-eon-bridge to be given April 20 for the clubwomen. The new mhemhers are Mesdames Carleion Edwards, Burnside Smith, Harry J: Berry, I. R. Wagner and George 8. Olive. Others are Mesdames Earl H. Conway, Raymond M. Rice and George V. Underwood. Parties have been planned for the lupcheon by Mesdames Merriam, Underwood, Rige, Caenway ‘and Paul R. Summers. Dr. and Mrs. Riee also have made reservations for the family Easter dipner which will be held at the elub Easter Sunday.

Welfare Group Sets Benefit For April 29
The annual benefit card party of the Welfare club has been set for 2:15 p. m., April 29, in Ayres’ auditorium. Proceeds will be used to support projects of the club. In 1912, the club was organized to aid elderly women in Indiangpolis. The organization has placed six women in the Indianapolis Home for Aged Women. In addition, contributions go to the Red Cress, Semvice Men's canteen and the pantry shelf of the U. S. O, As part of its war effort, the club uses funds obtained by serving selfdenial luncheons to buy war bonds. Recently the organization received a 100 per cent certificate for buying bends. Reservations for the party may be made with Mesdames Olin Hatton Jr. Blake Stone, T. M. Hindman, William Bartlett, Arthur Hupp, Edmond Wyatt, Harry Kuhr, Charles Roller, W. L. Densford of Robert Stokes. On Monday, members will meet for a 12:30 p. m. luncheon at the home of Mrs. Annabelle Cowie, 3777 N. Meridian st. The luncheon. chairman, Mrs. Lynn Adams, will be gssisted by Mesdames Lawrence Cummins, Carl Spiess, ©. BE. Trees, O, E. Simons and Roller. A husiness session will follow.
