Kyser heard her sing while on a return bus trip, and asked her to go on his show regularly. EASTER SEAL DRIVE IS LAUNCHED HERE

The seal campaign to raise funds for the Indiana Society for Crippled Children was launched here today. Thousands of the Easter seals will be mailed out in letters, each of which will contain 100 seals and a pamphlet explaining the aims of the organization. Emphasis this year will be on helping handicapped per=sons by making -available fo them new opportunities in industry. Funds raised in the campaign will finance the workshop at 30th and New Jersey sts., promoting vocational training and various similar projects over the state. Miss Helen Sommers is chairman of the Marion county drive and Kenneth R. Miller is executive secretary for the state organization.
