BOND SALE NOTICE CITY OF INDIANAPOLIS Sealed proposals will be received at.the office of the City Controller of the City o Indianapolis, diana, at 11:00 o'clock a. m,, Central War Time, on the 16th day , 1943, for the purchase of one hundred fifty (150) bonds of said city in the denomination of $1,000.00 each, dated as of May 1, 1943, designated as “City of Pe AnEEolS Refunding Bonds of May 1, 1943" and bearing interest at a rate not to exceed 4% per annum (the exact rate to be determined by bidding), which interest is payable on January 1, 1944, and semiannually thereafter on "the first day of January and the first day of July of each year for the period of said bonds. Said bonds shall mature as follows: seven (7) bonds on July 1, 1944 and seven (7) bonds on each first day of July thereafter, to and including July 1, 1962, and seventeen (17). bonds on July 1, 1963. Bidders for these bonds will be required to name the rate of interest the nds will bear, not exceeding 49% per annum. Such interest rate must be in multiples of one-fourth of one per cent, and not more than one interest rate shail be named by each bidder. Said bonds shall be awarded to the highest qualified bidder who has submitted his bid in accordance herewith. The highest bidder will be the one who offers the lowest net interest cost to the city, to be determined by.computing the total interest on all the bonds to their maturities and deducting therefrom the premium bid, if any.
