OSCAR HEMPHILL, who was burned while starting a fire in a stove at his home at 1260 Standard ave, Monday morning, died today at City hospital. He was 55. He is survived by his wife, Maude; four sons, James, Allen, Robert and Floyd, all of Indianapolis, and three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Jacks, Indianapolis, Mrs. Evelyn Zink, London,, Ind., and Mrs. Genevieve Collins, Kansas City, Kas. Funeral services and burial will be held in Martinsville, Ind., “Awhere he spent most of his life.
SISTER THEODOSIA, "AUTHOR, IS DEAD
Times Special TERRE HAUTE, March 24.—Sister Mary Theodosia, nationallyknown historian, composer,’ musician, and teacher at St. Mary-of-the-Woods, died yesterday at the school after a long illness. She was 83. Requiem high mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception tomorrow. Burial will be in the convent cemetery. Sister Theodosia was the author of a number of historical volumes and composer of songs under the pen name of H. Meary. Six years ago she edited the journal and letters of Mother Theodore Guerin, founder of St. Mary's.

Funeral services for Alonzo D. Rich, former resident of Indianapolis who died yésterday in Methodist hospital after a month's illness, will be held at 1:30 p. m. tomorrow in the Harry W. Moore peace chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill. The services will be conducted by tile Rev. L. C. Trent, pastor of the ‘Woodruff Place Baptist church. Mr, Rich had lived in Indianapolis until the death of his wife, Jessie May, in 1936. Since that time he had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Nina J. Shackelford, at Plainfield. He was 81. : Other survivors are a brother, 4 Vester Rich of Madison; a grandson, Raymond Anacker, and three great-grandchildren, all of Indianapolis. :
