permitting cities to tax producers. Under an amendment superseding the repealed measure, producers were exempt from city taxation, but distributors were subject to additional fees. Dr. Morgan said unless more revenue is obtained from distributors the city would lose $25,000 yearly in milk ordinance enforcement funds.

INGLEWOOD, Cal, March 11 (U. P.)—The mustang “fighter, deadly combai plane of the U. S. army and the R. A. F,, is armed with eight machine ‘guns, North American Aviation Co. disclosed today. The plane, designated as P-51, has been termed by the R. A. F. as the best co-operationa] craft in the air.
