located in the K. of P. building. She was ‘a general practitioner. She was the first president of the Woman's Franchise league of Indiana, an erganiaztion which campaigned for woman suffrage.

League Grew Rapidly

Serving as president for six years, the organiaztion grew from a small group until it had thousands of members and branches in all parts of the state. The league was instrumental in bringing about the passage of the suffrage amendment in 1920. ; Following the success of the suf{rage movement, Dr. Keller started working in the Republican * party. She was president of several wom‘len’s organiaztions and (made speeches in behalf of various G. O. P. candidates for city, county, state and national offices. Born in Cleveland, O., she’ was the daughter 'of Frederick and Elizabeth (Roemle) Keller and came to Indianapolis with her parents when a girl.

Taught in College

Graduated from the old Indianapolis high school, she attended a Chicago medical college for three years and later the old Central college of physicians and surgeons here. She taught at the college for several years. She was a member of the Women’s Rotary club, Survivors are: two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Denny of Indianapolis and Mrs. Lillian Scelken of Wauwatosa, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to: the Flanner & Buchanan mortuary.
