Establishment of legal aid clinics in military camps to handle ‘legal needs ‘ of servicemen was outlined and discussed at a’ meeting of the executive committee of the National Association of Legal Aid organizations in New York last week. George W. Eggleston, general counsel for the Indianapolis Legal Aid Society, Inc., and a member of the committee, attended. The national - association’s committee’ on federal legislation, of which Mr. Eggleston is a member, was instructed to consider improvements. in ‘the allowance and allot~ ments law under which the wife and dependents of a serviceman receive a portion of his pay. The national conference will be held in Cleveland’ in: September or October.
