Russell Ryan Only Retiring Jurist Undecided on Future Plans.

All but one of Marion county’s seven retiring judges today prepared to open up downtown law offices and .perform in front of the benches instead of on them for.the next four years, at least. The only Democratic judge who is not planning to enter practice next week is Judge Russell Ryan of superior court 3. Judge Ryan did not announce his plans for the future other than to say he would

not go into the practice of law.

Goett Joins Lewis Judge Joseph Markey, who has presided in superior court 1 for eight years, said he will open private offices at 318 Insurance bldg. He will ‘be associated in law practice with Albert Ward, former deputy prosecutor. Judge Henry O. Goett of superior court 4, will be associated with David M. Lewis, former prosecutor, in law practice. Other retiring judges who will open offices soon are Herbert Spencer of superior court 2, Herbert Wilison of superior court 5, Dewey Myers of criminal court. and Wilfred Bradshaw of juvenile court.
