Three former Indianapolis residents are taking a six weeks’ course of military, instruction, and physical conditioning at the army air forces training school at Miami Beach, Fla. Ensign - Charles Fuller of the naval air corps, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Fuller, 5759 Wildwood ave., recently visited his parents for a short time at the Municipal airport. Ensign Fuller began his training Sept. 1, 1941, ati Glenview, Ill. He was transferred to Corpus Christi, Tex., and then to Pensacola, Fla. He received his commission June 18 at Miami, Fla. and then was sent to San Diego. Later he received training as a pursuit pilot at Norfolk, Va. He hus been assigned to a dive bomber and recently has been flying a torpedo plane. He is a graduate of Purdue university. ” ” 2

William Armand Buskirk, formerly of Indianapolis, was recently commissioned a second lieutenant upon completion of his training at the infantry school at Ft. Benning, Ga. He is the son of W. A. Buskirk of St. Louis.
