Since that time, the sponsors have been working on a Christmas program to outshine the Thanksgiving predecessor. Don Ameche again will be master, of ceremonies and will team up with a Hollywood actress in a specially written skit, A 15minute dramatic offering will be presented by Bette Davis and Bob Hope
will be the comedy headliner.
Others signed up for the show are the Don Cossacks, Russian male chorus; Gracie Fields, British music hall star; the Four Vagabonds, novelty instrumental group; the Merry Macs, Judy Garland, Cass Daley and Abbott and Costello.
