Louis G. Russell Was Pennsylvania Agent At Louisville.
Louis G. Russell, district passenger’ agent: for the Pennsylvania railroad in Louisville, Ky., died there yesterday after an illness of several months. ; Mr, Russell became gvidely known here during his 40 years of service with the railroad in Louisville. He
attended numerous traffic meetings|: here and handled Kentucky Derby|:
business. A native of New Albany, Mr. Russell was employed by the railroad in Louisville in 1902. In 1907 he was appointed assistant ticket agent and became city passenger agent in 1911, He held the position of district passenger agent since 1927. Survivors are the widow; a son, Louis G. Russell Jr, an army liegtenant in Georgia, and two daughters, Miss Eileen Russell and Miss

Funeral services for Mrs. Maude B. Holman, 1001 College ave., will be held at 3 p. m. tomorrow at Shirley Brothers’ Irving Hill chapel with burial in Crown Hill, Mrs. Holman, a resident of Indianapolis 33 years, -died yesterday at her home after an illness of several months. She was employed at the Bobbs-Merrill Co. 15 years. ‘Born at Big Rapids, Mich., Feb. 8, 1886, Mrs. Holman formerly resided in Rushville and Marion. Survivors are her husband, Jesse F., of Dayton, O.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert H. Baron of Indianapolis, and her mother, Mrs. Mary L. Bratton of Cincinnati.

MRS. FRANK ‘EGAN died last’ night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Helen Galloway, 630 East Drive, Woodruff Place, after a year’s illness. She was 82, A resident of Indianapolis 32 years, Mrs. Egan was a native of Saybrook, O. Her husband died 10 years ago. Survivors besides the daughter are a son, Verne W. Shear of Akron, O., and three grandchildren. : Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. tomorrow in the Harry W. Moore peace chapel. Cremation will follow.

Private funeral services for Mrs. Betty Dithmer will be held at 3:30 p. m. tomérrow at the Flanner & Buchanan mortuary with burial in @rown Hill Mrs. Dithmer, the wife of Henry L. Dithmer Jr., died yesterday at their home, "706 E. 71st st. ~ She was 38. ! Born' in Philadelphia, Mrs. Dithmer had lived in Indianapolis most of her life. She was a graduate of Shortridge high school and Butler university where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal church. Survivors, besides her . husband, are three children, Marjory, Betty Lou and Henry L. III; her mother, Mrs. Chauncey Buck, and ‘a sister, Mrs. Anne ‘Atkinson, ‘all of Indianapolis.

investigation, .a squirrel lunged at her. She grabbed a wire screen and slapped it over the gr ing the animal. She "called police and when Patrolman Freeman Smock attempted to liberate the squirrel, it went up the chimney and escaped over the roof.
