Dr. Miller is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh dental school and Dr. Miller the school of education there. He has contributed widely to dental literature and has lectured before numerous dental groups.
SIX LOCAL CADETS HONORED BY ROTC
Times Special BLOOMINGTON, Ind. Nov. 6— Six Indianapolis cadets of the Indiana university R. O. T. C. have received awards for distinguished work during the first semester. For outstanding performance during his senior year, Richard Thornton received the Reserve Officers’ association medal and Hollace Chastain and John E. Jones were awarded Gen. John J. Pershing medals for excellénce as Pershing Riflemen. Vernon Buchanan and Robert Egli, freshmen, were honored with medals as the best drilled cadeis in their respective companies while Courtney Seagle was singled out for exceptional profigiency as a musician.

20 POLES SENTENCED ‘TO DEATH BY NAZIS
NEW YORK, Nov. 6 (U. P.).— Twenty poles conscripted for German army service have been sentenced to death by a court martial on charges of spreading allied news among German soldiers, the Polish information center reported. Announcement of the sentences was made in the newspaper Qber= schlesche Zeitung Oct. 27, the in=formation center said. The trial was conducted by the German military court at Katowice.
