Ogening Fall Frolic of the Lambs Club
To Be Staged at Columbia Club Tonight
MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM will hold the ‘spotlight at|the initial frolic of the Lambs club’s 12th annual season tonight at the Columbia club. With streamlined prograr ms scheduled for the duration, the group will present “Stage Door Canteen” as its opening floor show. | War has cgused the club to cut the number of shows this year rom five to°three; war has necessitated simplicity in production, and war has cast many a member in a new role, but the show will
g0 on. Outside talent, in the form of the Alpert Aces from Ft. Benjamin Harrison, the navy quartet from the radio school here and the Stout field male chorus, has been recruited for the show. The Stout field commandos will open the program with two songs, “The Army Air Corps” and “Air Commandos,” directed by Leo Kucinski. “Honky Tonk Train” ang “Trigger’s Fantasy” will be sung by the Alpert trio. » ” 2 . Anton Scherrers To Be Speakers At Museum

The Scherrers were in Holland when he present war began. formerly was a columnist for The Times in which his “Our Town” appeared, Through extended trips to Europe, he and Mrs. Scherrer are familiar with the life and customs of the countries fea tured in the new gallery at the museum, The museum’s material for the exhibition has been augmented by loans of dolls, children’s costumes, hiking equipe ment, lace, embroidery, wood carvings, silver, pottery and brass. The articles were loaned by Mesdames George Kuhn, Raymond Bulstra, Bert Adams, Maurice Eppert, Garvin Brown, C. O. Alig, Russell Ryan, Louis Burck hardt, Oscar Jose Jr., Wesley Stockinger and Miss Lena Maag. Public schools provide the hostesses for the family hours.
