A wedding breakfast/at Cifaldi’s followed the marriage of Miss Kathleen Martie O'Donnell to Lieut. William M. Perry of Camp Chaffee, Ark., at 7 o'clock this morning. The service was read by the Rev. Fr. Victor Goosens in Holy Cross Catholic church. The bride was attired in a dawn blue suit with navy accessories and a corsage of white roses. Miss Nancy Perry of New Albany, the bridegroom’s sister and the maid of honor, wore a gray suit with Dubonnet accessories and a corsage of Better Times roses. The best man was James E. O'Donnell, brother of the bride. For the ceremony, Mrs. James H. O'Donnell, the bride’s mother, chose an aqua blue crepe fro€k and a plum colored hat. Johanna Hill roses formed her corsage. The meeting was held in the faculty lounge of Purdue Union Memorial building with Mrs. J. Robert Clines, president, presiding. Mrs. Frank W. Cregor of Indianapolis, state president and guest speaker, gave a talk entitled “On the Home Front.” Appearing on the musical program: were the Purd®@ university orchestra with Joseph M. Ragains as conductor; Mrs, Albert P, Stewart, soprano; Mrs. J, E, Jordan, vocalist from the West Lafayette Musicale; Robert English, pianist of the Purdue Men’s Glee club, and Kent Knepper, ‘vocalist from the Paul Tincher Smith Memorial choir.
Canned Soup Prices Advance Slightly
WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 (U. PJ). —Housewives were advised by the office of price g@dministration today not to worry if they notice slightly higher prices for canned soups. The few cents markup, the OPA said, will pesult from improved grades of soup rather than violation of price orders. The new. types of candid soups should bear a label “new and improved style” or “new recipe,” the OPA announced. The soups contain more solids than old styles.” The war “production board ordered the change last spring and all soups canned since June 30 are made from the new recipes.

Miss Miriam Bosworth, organist, will play bridal mysic and Miss Mary Davis will be the soloist. The bride, who- will enter with her father, will have a gown of white brocaded satin, fashioned with a sweetheart necklace and leg-o’-mutton sleeves. The dress has lace insertion at the shoulders and down the full length train. Her white illusion veil will fall from a coronet of seed pearls. Gardenias and sweetheart roses will adorn her white prayer book and the same roses will be caught in the knots 1of ribbon streamers falling irom the book.

The . attendants’ princess gowns will be fashioned of slipper satin with tucked bodices and full skirts. Mrs. Robert Beecham, matron of honor, will wear Wedgwood blue and will carry blue tinted pompoms with pink baby’s breath. Mrs. Raymond Hogan, bridesmaid,
will have a gown of Grecian rose and will carry Briarcliff roses with hlue baby’s breath, while Miss Sue
