Service Men to Hear Symphony as Guests
The purchase of 54 season tickSia W be sad. By service wien for the Indianapolis symphony orchestra’s Sunday afternoon concert series has been approved by grand officers of Psi Iota Xi. Miss Marion Hull, executive secretary of the women's committee, has ahnounced the sale. * “This purchase does not include all the tickets that will be placed at the disposal of service men by the sorority,” Miss Hull said. “Almost every Indiana chapter of the sorority has purchased one or more season tickets for the use of the chapter. Such tickets, when not used by members, will be turned over to service men.” Grand officers of the sorority, which has 67 chapters in Indiana, are Miss Elwynne «Griffith, Scottsburg, president; Mrs. Joseph Reichart, Frankfort, grand vice president; Mrs. James D. THIS EVENING FROM 5:30 to 7:30 o'clock the Gay Blades skating club will open its fourth season at the coliseum. The club also will skate on alternate Tuesday’s beginning Oct. 27. At present there are a few vacant places in the Thursday. - group left open by young men who have gone into service. The new Tuesday group is open to both adults and children. Children of any age may join, but those under 13 years must be accompanied by a parent.
