Retired Businessman Had Been Local Resident For 49 Years. Percy .R. Chevalier, retired associate of the Guarantee Tire & Rubber Co., died yesterday at his home, 3315 Broadway. Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. Monday in the Flanner & Buchanan mortuary. The Rev. william F. Rothenburger, pastor of the Third Christian church, will be in charge and burial will be in Crown Hill. Mr. Chevalier came to Indianapolis 49 years ago from Jefferson City, Mo., and for 20 years was president of the Lion Mantel and Grate Co. He was a member of the Third Christian church and the Oriental Masonic lodge. Surviving are the wife, Blanche; three sons, ‘Arthur B. of Indianapolis, Dr. Paul L. of Richmond, Va., and Robert R. of Ft. Wayne; a sister, Faye of Houston, Tex., and six grandchildren,
