junior bridesmaid, was in autumn beauty red. ‘Their frocks were fashfoned after the matron of honor’s and they carried flowers similar to hers with matching clusters of flowers in their hair. All of the attendants wore pearl bracelets, gifts of the bride. The bride's brother, Elbert Eltzroth, was Pvt. Dickson's best man and another brother, Edwin Eltzroth, and Jack Stephens served as ushers. : Reception at Church Mothers ‘of * the couple had corsages of white pompoms and blue ageratum. Mrs. Eltzroth was in plum crepe with navy accessories and the bridegroom’s mother wore similar accessories with her Dubonnet frock accented with a teal blue yoke. A president’s day luncheon and program meetings claim the attention of clubwomen this week. The president’s day luncheon was to be held by the A. C. A, club at at 12:30 p. m. today in the Marott hotel. Mrs. Clayton Hunt Ridge was to be the speaker and honor guests were to be Mrs. William E. McGuire, incoming president, and Mrs. Brewer T. Clay, retiring president. Following luncheon there was to be a social hour, during which a musical program was to be presented by members. Among activities scheduled by sorority women this week are dinners, regular business sessions and a rush.party. The MU club of KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA sorority will hold its opening covered dish dinner this season at 6:30 p. m. Wednesday in the home of Mrs. Clyde E. Robinson, 6251 N. Delaware st. New members of the alumnae club will be special guests. Assisting Mrs. Robinson will be Mesdames Don Billings, Robert Russell, John W. Robinson, Walter V. Locher, Kirkwood Yockey, A. G. Questionnaires based on the qualifications of congressional candidates will be answered by members of the Indianapolis League of Women Voters, at their first meeting Wednesday at 2 p. m: in the Propylaeum, Mrs. John Goodwin, state president, will discuss the league’s wartime service program at the opening session. New members will be special guests at the meeting and tea following. Mrs. A. W. Noling, first vice president of the Indianapolis league, is in charge of arrangements. For several years the league has been issuing questionnaires containing questions on principles for which the league stands. Somé of the questions ‘to be answered by the group tomorrow include: Should your congressman subordinate his party's interests to national interest? © Should he be responsive to the opinions ‘of his constituents?
