Cancer Control Training School| Opens Sept. 14

Mrs, Beryl S. Holland of Bléomington, state commander of the Women's Field Army for the Control of Cancer, was to leave today for Bar Harbor, Me., to ‘attend an officers training school for cancer control. The school will be in session there. Sept. 14-19, then will be transferred to New ‘York where it will be in. session Sept. 21-25. Its object is to provide a comprehensive understanding of cancer control needs, Srganissiion and activities. Dr. C. C. Little of New York ‘will serve as director. The Bar Harbor meeting has been scheduled to enable state commanders to becomé acquainted with the work of one of ‘the outstanding cancer clinics ‘in the United States, which ~ is located there. + ' 3 FH Mrs. Holland has announced the appointment of ‘Mrs. Olive Beldon Lewis as executive secretary for the Indiana organization, which maintains its headquarters in the Claypool hotel.
