NAZIS REGIMENTING
HOLLAND'S STUDENTS
LONDON, Aug. 27 (U. P.).—German . occupation authorities have ‘tightened their grasp on education in Holland with regimentation of university students, - the Nether-
lands news agency Aneta reported
New students will not be permitted to register until they have ‘completed a term of labor service,
+ according to new regulations, Aneta © said. The students furthermore
can no longer. choose the university
they wish to attend.
Those students already registered
"with universities have been ordered
to report at Utrecht university Sept. 22 for an examination to! determine - whether they will be
~, allowed to continue their studies, . and at which university they will
do so. The head of Utrecht- university,
we who announced the examinations, 0 was quoted by Aneta as saying 2 o
that the number of students al-
+ lowed to continue their university wu work would be “limited.”
