In addition to the members, giFls re-entering Vassar this fall will be guests. Miss Natalie Henley of Bloomington, a new student, also will
attend. Mrs. Abram S. Woodard now heads the organization. ‘She replaces Mrs. William H. Thompson, who has left Indianapolis to join her husband in Little Rock, Ark.. where he is stationed with the army. At present Dr. and Mrs. Woodard are vacationing in Michigan.
Barbara Jones to Give Shower,

On Wednesday Miss Barbara Jones will entertain with a kitchen shower in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Merriam. "Miss Virginia Binford will give a tea Sept. 1 for Miss Gray and out-of-town guests who were her classmates at Briarclif Junior college. Mr. and Mrs. C. Dolly Gray, parents of the bride, will entertain the bridal party with a dinner at the Columbia club the night before the wedding. Times Special WINDFALL, Ind., Aug. 24.—The bride’s great aunt, the Rev. Polly Couch Bowman, read the marriage ceremony for Miss Virginia M. White of Indianapolis and Harold L. Rogers of Knightstown at 3:30. o'clock yesterday afternoon in the Methodist church here.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Todd are in Cincinnati following their marriage at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon in the University Park Christian church. The bride was Miss Margaret Weaver, daughter of Mrs. Frank L. Miller, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Georgia Todd.
Preceding the, ceremony, Robert McClean sang “Because,” “Oh, Promise Me” and “I Love you Truly,” accompanied by Miss: Betty Miller, organist. Miss Miller also played a program of bridal music including “Ave Maria.” The Rev. Fred Chandler performed the service before a setting of palms, ferns and seven-branch

She was attired in a gown of ice blue duchess satin fashioned with an Alencon lace bodice, romance neckline and long sleeves that tapered to points over the hands.
