City Hospital for Past 15 Years.

Dr. Charles Ww. Myers, superintendent of City hospital, lauded her as “a typical nurse.” “She was one of the most unselfish persons I have known,” Dr. “She was dévoted to

Miss Gerrin, who was 52, was a native of = Massachusettes and graduated from the Boston City hospital school of nursing. Funeral services and burial will be in Boston. Replacing Miss Gerrin here, Dr. Myers announced, is Miss Elizabeth C. Wivel, superintendent of nurses at Grant hospital in Chicago the past four years.

William F. Dickmeyer

Rites for William F. Dickmeyer, retired butcher who lived at 2621 E. New York st., will be held at 3:30 p. m. tomorrow at the Harry W. Moore peace chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park. . He died yesterday in St. Vincent’s hospital after an illness of two weeks. A native of Germany, Mr. Dickmeyer came to Indianapolis when a boy. He retired 15 years ago. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Odd Fellows lodge. Surviving are the wife, Mary Ella; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Guidone, Mrs. Elmer C. Holtman and Kathryn, and three grandchildren, all of Indianapolis.

ATTORNEY DIES

Andrew J. Hickey Was Ex-Congressman; Had La Porte Offices.

| LA PORTE, Ind., Aug. 21 (U. P». Funeral services . will be . held Saturday for Andrew J. Hickey, La Porte attorney and representative in congress from the old 13th district from 1918 to 1930. He died yesterday in New York state of a heart attack while on a -/motor trip with his brother, Judge William Hickey of Buffalo. Mr. Hickey was born in' Albion, N. Y, on Aug. 27, 1872, He would have been 70 next week. He attended the University £of Buffalo school of law and Was graduated in 1896. The following year he moved here to practice. After several years of Republican party activity, he was elected to congress six times. He had large ‘farm holdings here. His brother is the only survivor.
