A quintet from the deep south will be the guests on Tommy Dorsey’'s show tonight at 9:30 o'clock on WIRE. The hero of the week will be saluted by the maestro’s playing of “None but the Lonely| Heart.” ” ” 2 AROUND THE DIAL: The National Broadcasting Co. has completed arrangements with the Australian Broadcasting commission which will make available to American troops “down under” a series of broadcasts featuring leading -NBC sustaining shows. . . . There, he obtained an engagement with the late Texas Guinan. . . . ‘shifted to Barney Gallant's night’ club in Greenwich Village before Hollywood lured him to the west coast to write songs for movies. . . . He made his first radio appearance with Paul Whiteman’s Rhythm Boys in 1930 and has been in radio ever since. . . . Married to Roberta Robinson, he hag two young sons and lives in Green-
