for men stationed at Stout field were taken today with the warning
"bo 204 Marion county residents in| that vicinity to clean up their prop-| :

Several weeks ago, engineers from| :
the health board made a survey of
the area adjacent to the field and| |
found that insanitary conditions existed. Later a house-to-house survey was made at the request of Maj. John Schimmel III, acting post commander at Stout field. He had asked the board to make a “sanitary survey within the radius of approximately three-fourths of a mile of the field’s limits with particular attention to privies, pigpens and other potential health hazards.” Units of the army air force are now occupying Stout field.
