. Minivers Are Reunited
Miniver (Walter Pidgeon) points to the wings on the breast of his son,
about it in the papers. Too bad? Of course. Terrible? Why, yes. But when the Nazi bullet streaks through your brother, or wife, or son or husband or sweetheart or sister or mother—that’s not the same at all. Is it?
Not Yet Perhaps
The blood of life gushes out on the dirty ground. Maybe you thought it wouldn't ever happen.
But who are you going to kiss now? Nobody. . . The war has come to you.

life if it hadn't. It won't be the same with you as anyone else. The world is you, then, and all the troubles in it yours. No one else in the world will suffer just like you. That's the reason I think you should see a motion picture called “Mrs. Miniver.,” It’s coming to Loews Wednesday.
It’s Not the Same
In a cool, far-from -the - war screening room, I saw it a couple of days ago. . I think you ought to see it, too. When the war comes to the Minivers, it's not the same with them as it will be with you and me. Naturally not. They're English people, the Minivers. I expect they've got a better house than you’ ve got. Maybe not. I don’t know. But the Nazi bullet streaks just the same. The Minivers have to take it. What could they do? I sat for two hours and 13 minutes and. saw this picture, how the peaceful, good Minivers were shot through with the fear and death of war. And yes, the courage, too.
You Don’t Talk’
You're not the Minivers and neither am I. And theyre not us. Bi the war is one, the same to us al. For two hours and 13 minutes I watched the story of the Minivers and when it was over, I just sat there. I didn’t want to talk to anybody. I didn’t want to say what I thought. I wish there hadn’t been anyone around. You don’t talk about what you
