GREENSBURG, Pa., July 15 (U. R. 2, was arrested last night after three days of hide-and-seek with authorities following the killing of his mother and step-father in what appeated to be a routine automobile accident last Sunday night.

‘MILK MINIMUM

Producers Get Increase, But Board Says Users Are Not Affected.

A “floor” was placed under the milk-price structure in Marion county yesterday by a state milk control board ruling that producers shall receive no less than $2.75 a hundredweight for Grade A milk, This move will not affect the price of bottled milk to consumers here, board officials said. The board’s action had the effect of boosting the price the dairymen are row getting for their milk 10 cents a hundredweight, The prevalling price is $2.66.

Sliding Scale Unchanged

It did not change the slidingscale regulation now in effect except to provide that the prices paid the airymen cannot go under $2.75. The sliding-scale system is one which bases the price the farmers get for their milk on the Chicago butterfat market. When butterfat prices in Chicago go up, the prices paid to farmers go up and when they go down the prices here go down. The ‘milk board's action was taken upon s petition filed by local dairymen. No action was taken on another petition asking that a similar minimum be fixed for all milk sold outside the county. Oscar Swank, Orleans, a manufacturers’ representative on the board, was elected vice chairman to succeed O. J. Stunkard, Brazil, who died recently. Another board member is to be appointed.
