129 Conventions With 73,500 Delegates Listed For Rest of 42.
The Indianapolis Convention bureau reported today that 129 conventions, expected to bring 73.500 delegates to the city, are scheduled for the remainder of 1942. : Henry T. Davis, bureau manager. #aid the report was issued to correct erroneous rumors that most conventions are beind canceled because of
war conditions. He said that “unnecessary travel by bus, train and private automobiles is being discouraged but necesgary travel will be continued.”
