Horace E. Ryan, formerly advertising manager of L. S. Ayres & Co. department store, died yesterday in Painesville, O,, and the funeral will 4 be held there at 3 p. m. tomorrow | in the Nixon funeral home. LAURA SPARKS DIES; FUNERAL SATURDAY

Mrs. Laura M. Sparks, resident of Indianapolis since 1908, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Harbold, 2925 Meredith ave. She was 68 and a native of Oconomowoe, Wis. Mrs. Sparks was a member of the Woodruff: Place Baptist church and was active in the Berean Bible class and the Red Cross. Services will be held at the daughter’s home at 9:30 a. m. Saturday. Burial will be at Memorial Park. Survivors include, besides Mrs. Harbold, another daughters, Esther Williams of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Jennie Scheumaker |R of Red Wing, Minn.; a brother, Charles Kendall of Chicago and six grandchildren.
