Preview of Indiana Artists’ Works Will Be This Evening at Museum

NAMES OF PRIZE WINNERS in the 35th annual exhibition of Indiana artists’ works at John Herron art museum will be announced at a preview at 8 o'clock this evening, The formal public opening of the show will be at 1 o’clock tomorrow afternoon. Tonight's preview will be attended by members of the Art Association of Indianapolis, artists and their friends. Works on display include 125 paintings and 13 pieces of sculpture. . Tomorrow afternoon Miss Lucy M. Taggart, Mrs, G. H. A, Clowes, William .G. Sullivan, Fermor S. Cannon and William OC. Griffith will serve on the Art association’s host and hostess come= mittee at the museum. Another event on ‘the calendar at the museum this week will be the appearance of the Musical Art quartet of New York on Thursday and- Friday nights. The programs will be presented at

| 8:30 p. m. in the museum assembly hall. The quartet has played here several times in. the past. The performances will be open to

the public although Art association members will be given first _

4 Tudor Hall Organizations Name Officers

OFFICERS OF TUDOR HALL school’s major organizations are announced following their recent election. Miss Margery Quigg, Richmond, Ind., will be president of the Student Government association with Miss Marjorie Bain as vice president; Miss Margaret Miller of Knightstown, secretary, and Miss Jo-Anne Jordan, Springfield, O., treasurer, Miss Mary Boyd Higgins was elected president of next year’s . senior class. The Chronicle and Crown, school yearbook and mag- | azine, will be edited by Miss Maryann Zinn and Miss Anita Trinz will be business manager of the publications. Miss Jane Norris will serve as president of the Athletic association. | Miss Ann Caldwell, Dunkirk, has been named president of the residence. Names Aids for Arlington Horse Show

MRS. GEORGE W. SADLIER has been appointed by the Indiana Saddle Horse association as ticket sales chairman for the 12th annua] Arlington charity horse show. The engagement of Miss Margaret Gracie Jackson of Boston to Dr. George H. A. Clowes Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs. G. H. A. Red Cross Asks Office Help
