GRAIN TRADERS STILL FEARFUL

Prices Rise Slightly on Commission Brokers’

Support.

CHICAGO, April 21 (U. P)— Support by commission house brok-| ers, who felt that the market was

entitled to a technical rally after yesterday's new seasonal

the board of trade today. Volume was light, with a scarcity of offerings. Many traders still were apprehensive over the possibility of an anti-inflation program

+ | Which might restrict prices on basic

commodities. Trade circles heard reports that a

5ilist of fixed prices was being pre-

pared for 30,000 articles. This was reflected even more in drop of 50 cents a bale in New York cotton

here. At 'the end of the first hour, corn was up !s& to 4 cent a bushel, wheat up : to 3% cent, oats up x to 4, {jee up 3 to 5: and soybeans up ls.
