Mrs. Lemaux was 83. Her husband, George, died 21 years ago. | He was president of the city works board at the time. | A native of Ridgeville, Ind. she and Mr. Lemaux were married there] in 1883 and came to Indianapolis] in 1902. Mrs. Lemaux was active] in the Sunnyside guild for many vears and was a member of the Breadway Methodist church, Surviving, besides her son, are a sister, Mrs. Rose Addington of Floral Park, Long Island, N. Y.: a grandson, Irving W. Lemaux Jr. in the army air force, Orlando, Fla.: two granddaughters, Mrs. Duncan R. Miller and Mrs. Donald M. Ream, of Indianapolis. and four great-grandchildren. The Rev. John F. Edwards will conduct services at 2 p. m. tomorrow at the Hisey & Titus mortuary. ! Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery. Pallbearers will be McClellan Coppock, James R. Swartz, E W. Ora E. Bone, operator of the Southport Lumber yard from 1915 to 1935, died yesterday at his home, 4253 Madison ave. He was Tl. A native of Shelby county, he operated a lumber yard at North Manchester for many years before coming to Indianapolis in 1915. He was a member of Southport Masonic lodge. Mrs. Bone died in February of last year. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Belva Stienecker and Mrs. Margaret McConnell, both of Indianapolis; three brothers, Arthur and Thomas, both of Shelbyville, and John of West Mansfield, O., and four sisters, Mrs. Hester Johnson|t of Muskegon, Mich, and Mrs. Ella |f Sipes, Mrs. Hannah Shock and Mrs. J. Mrs. Schattner, a lifelong resident of Indianapolis died Wednes= day at St. Vincent's hospital following an illness of six weeks. She was the former Anna Jane Burke and was a member of St. Patrick's church. Mrs. Schattner was active in the choir and altar society of the church. She wa. a member of the Daughters of Isabella and its glee club and of the Cathedral Mothers’ club. Surviving are her husband, Joseph J; a son, John Joseph; a sister, Mrs. Mary C. Services for Clubwoman Born in Loogootee Set For 3 Tomorrow.

Mrs. Mary E. Kirazian, active Indianapolis clubwomen, died yesterday at her home 1121 Pomander place, at the age of 55. Born in Loogootee she lived there until she came to Indianapolis in 1910. A member of the Tabernacle Presbyterian church, she also belonged to the North Park chapter, O. E. S, and for two years was president of the Mandalay chapter, International Study club. She took an active part in the federation of the International Study club, the Parliamentary Law club and the Golden Glow Garden club.

Surviving are her husband, Samuel V.; a son, Samuel Gerald, both

Retired Railroad Conductor Dead

William S. Becker, who, until his retirement two years ago, was conductor of the New York Central railroad, died yesterday at his home 2042 Forest Manor, after a week's illness. He was 72. A native of Germantown, Q., Mr, Becker had lived in Indianapolis for the last 40 years. He was a member of the Order of Railway Conductors. Surviving are his wife, Ruby, and a daughter, Joanne, both of Indianapolis; a stepson, Kenneth Rainbolt of Chicago; two brothers, Frank and James, both of Sidney, O., and one grandchild. Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. tomorrow at the home with burial in Crown Hill cemetery.
