William Henry Clements, superintendent of the Marion county garage, 222 EB Maryland st, died yesterday. He was 50. Mr. Clements who was appointed garage superintendent last January was widely known among drivers and mechanics who participated in the Speedway events during 1927 and 1928. He was a Republican Wayne township precinct committeeman, a member of Wayne post 64, American Legion, and the Bridgeport Masonic lodge 182. Mr. Clements lived at 1414 Glen Arm road. Survivors are his wife, Edna; a daughter, Miss Frances Clements; his mother, Mrs. Lillie Clements; four brothers, Leo, Ralph, Cecil all of Indianapolis and Walter of Michigan City, and one sister, Mrs. Nora Frazier, Lafayette.

Stanley I. Norton, assistant scout executive, today was named boy scout camp director for the 1042 season. C. Otto Janus, chairman of the council camping committee, announced the first camp will be held June 15 to 27 inclusive. The second camp will be July 6 to 18; the third is for only one week and has been set as July 20 to 25; and the fourth will be July 27 to Aug. 8. Negro scouts will use the camp from Aug. 10 to 18, and the final period will be from Aug. 17 to 29. The food supplies for Camp Chank-tun-un-gi have been obtained and due to the increase in food prices it was necessary to raise the camp fees 50 cents a week over 1041, Camp fees will be $6.50 a week. The scouts will plant their own “Victory Gardens” at the reserva tion and the gardens are expected to be producing by the time camp opens, Many
